‘One Day This Will All Be Lore’ (our second album) releases on the 29th January 2027, we’re all very excited

we are really proud of this album and everyone involved. very excited for you to hear it.

new single ‘dragonslayer’ is out - go and get it wherever you please

we will keep you updated more often. apologies… big love x

Hope everyone had a good festive period, not too traumatic. I’ve been doing some arts and crafts - maybe you guys have found something nice for the christmas void also x

Final vocal sessions are happening in the coming days. i’ve been trying to find something to write about other than the boring obvious. it’d be cool to be sincere (i heard that’s back) - i’m pretty certain i’m a c**t now though, cos i find it self parodying. Sad boy chic hasn’t existed since the internet became self aware a million trend cycles ago. Unrelated - i’m really back into american girl by tom petty. If anyone knows the zeitgeist let me know and the album will be out the following monday. Did i ever tell anyone that we gigged with geese and cameron said (with his label’s champagne in hand) i was the coolest ever. shame they’re dead to me. (double kidding)

But seriously (…) we’re excited to get back to it following the holiday break. free show at the old blue last in february will be a busy one so maybe get down early. As usual i reckon some daft lads from goldsmiths will be camping overnight on great eastern street.

If you’re reading - thank you.

They’ll be things to announce soon, and the music we’re finishing up is very good in my opinion ((even if it isn’t quite to your taste (yet)). In the meantime here’s some HOTTTTTTTTTT takes from bendy about 2026.

Much love from Arthur x

shout out to darq e freaker corsica 2015

The year of our lord 2025 (themed by the pope “Pilgrims of Hope”) has coincidentally left us still trudging into next year - in search of a respite from misery. But we did some exciting shows so idgaf really. Or I didn’t for like one week in early November.

Another cRRRazzzY twelve months for us as usual - especially me (sorry imsofkngmntal) - i’ll probably have to leave you with some heavily edited highlights. Don’t get me wrong, being a confessional jester is addictive but i’m learning that having an open diary, with my heart on my sleeve ++ my foot in my mouth, isn’t great for mental or physical health.

Mysterious + opaque is the new fibermaxxing.

Most of our time was spent thinking about LP2 — its 95% done we swear, if you’ve seen us this year you’ll have heard at least a few songs from it. Balasz is life. Perfection takes time (but it is getting silly). Hope people like conceptual albums about vaping. Zillennial angst.

Big love to everyone that listened to the tunes this year, came to the shows and bought t shirts etc. shout to the people of Augsburg, the doctors of Cologne, the city of Paris, the indie music society of Edinburgh university, the s**k c***ts of floodlights, the goonification of society, the Scunthorpe of Manchester, the music producers of Forbes’ 100 Hungarians, the members of larger arty London indie bands, the chonged tall guys of old kent road, the vocal fry academics of online cultural discourse, the Julians of Norwich, the tastemakers of the dying blogosphere, the goths of Norfolk and the teenagers of the home counties.

Sorry about any shows we’ve missed, hurts us dearly when we can’t perform. It’s my (and hopefully others) favourite part. love you fievel so bad.

You will see us in 2026 worldwide. ((maybe (probably not))

Much love from Arthur x

Fast Highlights

“hey other bendy members, what were your highlights of 2025?”

Dina

fav watch - one battle after another (shout out to the summer i turned pretty)

fav song - incomprehensible by big thief

fav memory - 5am round the fire at end of the road

worst watch - (too kind)

worst song - lick the toad by cruz beckham

worst memory - the crow that nearly died outside my window

Olivia

Fav watch - the brutalist

Fav song - listened to They Are Gutting a Body of Water a lot

Fav memory - seeing all those plumbobs with Gabriel at green man and getting to the bottom of screeder (see below)

Worst watch - probably spinal tap 2

Worst song - epic breakup mashup jar of hearts x somewhere I belong

Worst memory - graduating university

Ollie

Fave Watch - There’s been so much, but I was told off for it not being 2025 based in the band group chat so I think it’ll have to be Nosferatu.

Fave song - It’s Total Euphoria by Caroline. It could also be Nerv by Thornhill. Both those songs come from a couple of my best albums this year.

Fave memory - Too many, it’s a trick question.

Worst watch - I didn’t watch anything in 2025 that I didn’t enjoy (nailed it)

Worst song - Probably one of my own. Is it actually something by Yungblud? Maybe

Worst memory -Too many, it’s a trick question.

And some goss - Plead the 5th. I plead it and anyone reading my answer here should plead it as well.

Tristan

Worst this year —

That ‘classical’ Rosalía song, Kevin Shields’ stage left amp stack at Wembley arena, Accidentally fermented chickpeas, Lack of contrast stitching on men’s shoes

Best this year --

Caroline 2, A dusty cat, Playing brixton academy as a vampire, Getting emotional seeing Arthur eat a steak tartare for the first time, Liverpool winning the league, Speed, Tortoise at barbican, One battle after another, Cleaning up my studio, Tomas Harker at The Sunday Painter

Joe

a: Hey Joe, finally. What have been your highlights for 2025?

j: I like to travel. derp.

a: Eloquent and poignant as always. Thank you Joseph.

til next time xxxx

big day tomorrow eek. the first new music from us since the album came out - nine lives, two band members and countless tragedies (as well as joys) of various size ago.

“Poke” was the first thing we started working on in the early summer of 2024 and it’s probably the best thing we’ve done so far. definitely the best riff joe has written - he said that to me himself. there’s probably some recency bias in there, but lots of praise has to go to our new producer Balázs for how hi-def he’s got us. big love.

^theres a video recording the soon to be iconic synth line

you can presave the song here or if you’re reading this past the 3rd of september you can stream it via that same link.

^theres a very rough early version in lisbon last year - dont let it spoil the single

celebrate the release with us at village underground in london on thurs, we’re supporting floodlights and then we head to europe for like two weeks after that. i believe those europe shows are selling fast and all the tickets and dates are below.

headline shows start on 18th september in edinburgh should be gr888888!

Hiya, this is Arthur.

This will now be used as our diary/blog/mailinglist/notice board —-- the home of blue bendy news/information/updates from all (me joe olivia dina ollie tristan) of us on shows, releases, gossiping (both internal and external), recommendations and anything else etc etc etc

We did a spotify playlist that we will be trying hard to update frequently but sporadically. Music that we’re enjoying/directly ripping off1 while finishing the next record this summer.

Keep in touch with us here,

Love from Bendy x
